How to Connect a Drain Hose

ENGLISH There are two drain holes at the product. (Fig. 1)
One is at the rear and the other is at the bottom of the air conditioner unit.
In case of cooling only model , there are two drain hole caps at the drain
holes, but heat-pump model case, there is one drain hole cap at the rear.
Additional drain hole cap is provided for heat pump model and drain
pipe and washer are provided at the accessory.
Select a drain method according to the following by each model.
• Cooling only model
1. Connecting drain from rear
1) Remove the drain hole cap from rear at the product.
2) After assembling washer and drain pipe, secure the drain pipe
to the rear hole of the base pan. (Fig. 2) Press the drain pipe into
the hole by pushing.
3) Connect a drain hose of 9/16 inside diameter to the
drain pipe as shown Fig. 3
2. Connecting drain from bottom
1) Remove the drain hole cap from bottom at the product.
2) After assembling washer and drain pipe, secure the drain pipe
to the bottom hole of the base pan. (Fig. 4) Press the drain pipe
into the hole by pushing.
3) Connect a drain hose of 9/16 inside diameter to the
drain pipe as shown Fig. 5
