3.8 SET UP YoUR bLUETooTh
®
To pair your phone with a Bluetooth headset, make sure that both are
fully charged. Have your headset within a range of 30 feet from your
phone. Make sure your device is ON and in Pairing or Bonding Mode
(refer to the user guide of the device you are attempting to pair with).
Please remember that you can connect to only one device at a time.
1. From the Home screen, press the
Main
menu icon.
2. Slide your finger from right to left across the screen and press
Bluetooth
.
3. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the right to turn it
ON
.
4. Press
Search New Device
. A list of available devices will display. Press
the desired Bluetooth device and press
yes
when prompted to connect.
5. If you are prompted for a passkey, please refer to your headset’s user
guide. A commonly used passkey for headsets is
0000
. enter the
passkey into your keypad and press
OK
.
6. To return to the Home Screen, press the
END
key.
