POWER SUPPLY CHANGEOVER AND
ENGINE/HYBRID START/STOP
Check for proper activation of the “ENGINE” switch.
Power supply changeover
a) Carry the electronic key in the vehicle and apply the
parking brake.
b) Without depressing the brake pedal, press the
“ENGINE” switch and change the power supply.
OFF
Press once: ACCESSORY mode
Press twice: ”IG-ON” mode
Press three times: OFF
c) In each mode, check that the power supply has changed
properly.
Engine start/stop
a) Carry the electronic key in the vehicle and apply the
parking brake.
b) Check that the shift lever is in the “P” position.
c) While depressing the brake pedal, press the “ENGINE”
switch.
Hybrid system start/stop
a) Carry the electronic key in the vehicle and apply the
parking brake.
b) Check that the shift lever is in the “P” position.
c) When depressing the brake pedal, check that the green
“POWER” switch illuminator comes on and push the
“POWER” switch to start the hybrid system.
NOTE:
The “READY” indicator comes on and a beep sounds.
d) Push the “POWER” switch regardless of brake position
to stop the hybrid system.
NOTE:
If the hybrid system is stopped with the vehicle in a position
other than “P”, the power supply mode is switched to the
ACCESSORY mode, not to OFF, and the battery will
deplete.
e) Use the “POWER” switch to set “READY” mode (leave
in “READY” mode until front bumper process).
