Paper jam in the duplex unit
Note: The parts inside the printer are sensitive. Avoid unnecessarily touching these parts while clearing jams.
1.
Pull up the duplex latch, and remove the duplex unit.
2.
Firmly grasp the paper, and then gently pull it out.
Note: Be careful not to tear the paper while removing it.

Technical Support Center:
Check the paper tray, exit bin, or jam clearance area for any jammed media.
Remove any jammed media. Check if the paper stack does not exceed the line
marker on the tray guides. If it does exceed, then lessen the media stack. Turn off
the printer. Wait for 10 seconds, and turn on the printer. If the problem remains,
then replace the printer.
