Light lines or streaks appear on
the printed page. Clean the LEDs.
Make sure the affected photodeveloper is
completely installed in the printer.
Remove the affected photodeveloper and
gently shake it back and forth to distribute
the toner evenly. Reinsert the print unit
and try printing the job again.
Replace the affected toner cartridge.
Replace the photodevelopers. If the
problem only occurs when printing black,
replace just the black photoconductor. If
the problem occurs when printing one of
the colors, replace all three of the color
photodevelopers and the transfer belt. If
there still is a, go to
“Uneven Printing”
on page 2-76 .
The page is blank. Be sure the affected print unit is
completely installed in the printer.
Replace the affected toner cartridge. If
there still is a, go to
“No Image” on
page 2-73 .
Toner smears or rubs off the
page. Be sure you’re using recommended
paper or media.
Be sure you have selected the correct
Paper Weight setting for the media you’re
using.
Be sure the top cover is completely
closed and both sides are snapped shut.
You may need to replace the fuser.
