AIR SHUTTER ADJUSTMENT (NATURAL GAS ONLY) 

ADJUSTING THE AIR SHUTTER 

The venturi of the burner is equipped with an air shutter. The opening of the venturi has been set at

" for Natural Gas and 

fully open for Propane installation at sea level. Natural Gas Models may be adjusted for high altitude as follows:
       •  To increase air mixture, push up the adjustment rod located beneath the stove. This opens the shutter more and will 

stop sooting.  

See Figure 45.

       •  To decrease air mixture, pull down the adjustment rod located beneath the stove. This closes the shutter. Flames will 

be more yellow.
