The indoor relative humidity shows “LO”.

The humidity percentage range is between 15% and 95%.

If the indoor relative humidity registered close to the main unit is below 15% (which may
occur in winter), the unit will display “LO”.
If the indoor relative humidity rises above 95%, the unit will show “HI”; this is perfectly
normal.

A remote unit installed alongside the main unit indicates a different humidity level
for the same location

This is a perfectly normal and acceptable phenomenon. The humidity sensors are
accurate to about +/- 5%. For this reason, the display on the main unit and that on a
remote sensor installed alongside it can vary by 10%.
