5. Insert an SD memory card in the SD card slot (9) located in back of your
LexiBox® ®.
Ensure that that the card's metallic connectors are pointing downward
when the front of the LexiBox® ® is facing you.
6. Gently insert the card in the reader until it clicks into place.
• Removing the Memory Card
Remark: BEFORE removing the memory card, you must always disable it.
1. In the "System Settings" menu, accessible in the parental controls, select
"Storage" and then click " Disable the SD card" .

2. Press “ OK ” to confirm and wait until the memory card is deactivated.
3. You may now remove the card: press lightly on the card until you hear a click,
and the card will be ready for removal. Gently remove it from the card slot.
Remarks: Never remove the memory card without first having disabled it.
Never remove the memory card while the LexiBox® ® is reading or writing to
the card. This could lead to a loss of data and/or damage the card.
• Formatting the memory card
1. In the "System Settings" menu, select " Storage " and then click " Format the
SD card "
2. Confirm by clicking " Format the SD card" and then " Format entire card ".
Warning: "Format the SD card" will permanently erase the content of the SD card.
B. Inserting a USB Peripheral
The LexiBox® ®'s USB port will enable you to connect a hard disk or another USB
peripheral. You may therefore access any multimedia files stored on these
peripherals.
