15.2.

 

Quick-release axle 

The quick-release axles enable you to remove and re-mount the rear wheels of your 

LEVO LCEV Kid & Junior quickly, thus reducing significantly the volume and weight 

of the wheelchair. 
When removing a wheel, the wheelchair must be unoccupied. The wheelchair 

should be supported in a way that it cannot tip over nor roll away after 

removing the wheel. 
Press the release button in the center of the wheel, then pull off or re-mount the 

wheel. 
Having mounted the wheel, push and pull it several times to ensure the quick-release 

axle has fully engaged. 

 

 

15.3.

 

Rear wheels  

The rear wheels of the LEVO LCEV Kid & Junior are equipped with pneumatic tyres 

or airless tyres. Ask your dealer for suggestions concerning specific adjustments or 

custom made tyres.  
Please make sure to check the tyre pressure regularly. The optimal pressure is 6.0-7.5 
bar or 600-750 kPa

.

Front wheels 

To remove the front wheels (together with the front 

forks), press the quick-release axle from underneath, 

then pull off the forks (see photo).

 

After reinstalling the front wheels please make sure that 
they are fitted correctly
