OPERATION
The Digital Volume Control is very easy to use. It has no user replaceable parts. It has a total of 17
available volume settings that affect one room only. After the stereo is turned on, the sound may come
over the speakers if the installer has selected that option.
To increase the volume in this zone only:
Push the rocker button up. Holding the button up continuously will increase the volume until maximized.
To lower the volume in this zone only:
Push the rocker button down. Holding the button down continuously will lower the volume until it mutes.
The side LED indicators show the volume level selected. The lower LED shows when power has been
turned on to the volume control.
To mute the volume control:
From any volume setting, firmly press the center of the rocker switch. When the volume control has been
set to mute, the volume indicator LED will blink.
To restore the volume control to the previous volume setting:
Briefly press the up or down rocker and the previous volume will be restored.
NOTE: If the stereo is on and the Digital Volume Control has lost power, it will default to a loud (position
#12) setting.
