4. Before use
a) Connecting to mains (Fig. C)

Connect the extension cable to plug (Fig. C1) and fasten it to the cable holder (Fig. C2 and C3).

Connect the opposite end of the extension cable to the appropriate mains socket.
b) Fitting the grass collection box (Fig. D)
◆
Lift the deflector plate and place the grass collection box over the relevant lugs (Fig. D).
c) Cutting Height Adjustment (Fig. E)
Cutting height is adjusted by changing the position of the front and rear axles to one of three positions
(heights of cut grass).
◆
Turn the mower upside down.
◆
Pull the axle from the grooves on both sides of the body and move it to any other pair of grooves
and then release (Fig. E1).
Warning! Ensure the blade completely stopped and the appliance disconnected from the mains before
changing the height of cut.
Important: Make sure both sides of each axle as well as both axles are at the same height (Fig. E2).
5. Switching on and off (Fig. F)
a) Switching on

Push in and hold the lock-off button (1, Fig. F1).
◆
Pull the ON/OFF switch lever (2, Fig. F2) towards the handle.
◆
Hold the lever and release the lock-off button.
b) Switching off
◆
Release the ON/OFF switch lever (2).
Warning: Never attempt to lock a switch in the on position.
6. Use
Warning! Let the appliance to work at its own pace. Do not overload.
a) Mowing
We recommend using your mower as outlined in the Figures H in order to achieve optimum results
and to reduce the risk of cutting the supply cable.

Place the bulk of the supply cable on the lawn, close to the starting point (position 1).

Switch the appliance on as described above.
◆
Proceed as shown in the left picture.
◆
Mowe from position 1 to position 2.
◆
Turn right and proceed towards position 3.
Repeat the above procedure as required.
Warning: Do not mow towards the cable as shown in the right picture.
b) Emptying the grass collection box

Release the ON/OFF switch lever.
◆
Remove the grass collection box and empty the contents from the box.
c) Carrying the mower
Warning! Ensure the blade has completely stopped and the appliance disconnected from the mains
before carrying.
