Retrieving the vision sensor
Retrieving the vision sensor is an important aid helping you when the file belonging to
the connected sensor is not available on the PC anymore. Using the Retrieve function
you can directly load the data of
redCAM
into the program. However, you only get de-
fault names for your data as the original names chosen by you are not stored on the
sensor.
If you wish to retrieve data from the sensor, select
Retrieve Vision Sensor
in the
File
menu. Having not saved the last changes of your current file, you receive a correspon-
ding message.

After saving your current data, the transmission from sensor to program starts. The
progress indicator provides you with information on the transmission status. After the
transmission is completed, the progress indicator vanishes and you can continue with
new data.
