SOLID-4 Safety Light Curtains are type 4 Active Opto-electronic Protective Devices (

ctive

evices, AOPDs) in accordance with EN IEC 61496-1 and 

prEN/IEC 61496-2. 

All SOLID-4 Safety Light Curtains with a type SD4R-E Receiver have start/restart interlock 
and contactor monitoring function that can be selected and deselected, as well as display 
elements (LEDs and 7-segment) for convenient startup and diagnostics.
The SOLID-4 series is equipped with 2 OSSDs (transistor safety-related switching outputs) 
with M12 connection system as standard features.

To provide the best possible solutions for specific applications, SOLID-4 series devices are 
available in various resolutions and protective field heights.
