Notice!
The rotoScan ROD4…plus outputs two different types of messages at output "ALARM1":
Warning message
- Information for the user indicating that a non-critical danger area (e.g.
window contamination) has been detected in the device.
Error message
- System has detected a critical device error and switches off the semicon-
ductor outputs Fn1 and Fn2.

Diagnostic codes and causes
All errors which occur in the ROD4 during operation are stored in an error list in the device.
You can only call up this list with the
RODsoft
software. On the toolbar, click
or select
System data
→
Load diagnostic data from scanner
on the menu bar.
The error messages from the last 8 events are documented. This first memory slot always
contains the most recent error message.
