The electronical equipment and machinery described in these
Operating lnstructions are used in industrial power installations.
This equipment incorporates hazardous parts that are live, moving
or rotating during operation. Severe personal injury or damage to
equipment may occur it eg. any required enolosures or covers are
inappropriately removed or the equipment is insutticiently serviced.
The persons responsible tor the satety ot the equiment must
theretore ensure that

only qualitied personnel

allowed to work at the equipment
and machinery,
•
the personnel has the Operating lnstructions and other
documentation at hand whenever working at the equipment
and is bound to consistently observe the documentation,
•
non-qualitied personnel is prohibited trom working at the
equipment and machinery or in its vicinity.
Oualitied personnel inoludes persons who, based on their training,
experience and instructions as weil as their knowledge ot the
relevant standards, regulations, satety standards and operational
environment, have been authorized by the person responsible tor
the safety ot the equipment to pertorm the required work and are
able to recognize and avoid potential risks.
