Dangers in the operation  

• To prevent heat build-up, do not 

place the unit directly against a wall 

or under a wall cupboard or the 

like. Do not cover the device during 

operation. Make sure there is suffi-

cient clearance and safety distance 

to all easily melting and flammable 

objects - Risk of fire! 

• In case of operation of electric 

heaters, high temperatures are 

generated which can lead to 

injuries, eg. As housing, grill plates, 

etc. can be very hot. Never touch 

hot surfaces with bare hands! For this 

purpose use existing handles and 

always wear heat-insulating cooking 

gloves. Make other users aware of 

the dangers. Risk of injury! 

• When opening and closing the lid 

or when using the appliance, hot 

steam can escape - Risk of scalding! 

• Never move the appliance while it 

is hot or when hot food or liquids are 

in or on it. Risk of burns! 

• Let the appliance cool completely 

before cleaning and / or stowing 

it. Keep in mind that the appliance 

may still be very hot after switching it 

off. Risk of burns! 

• Only use original accessories. 

When non-original accessories are 

used, it is expected that the risk of 

accidents increase. In the event of 

accidents or damage with non-origi-

nal accessories, no liability is accept-

ed. When using foreign accessories 

and the resulting damage to the 

appliance because of it voids any 

warranty. 

• Use the appliance only for the 

preparation of suitable foods, never 

for other purposes. In order to avoid 

hazards, do not put in oversized 

food. 

• Never pour water into hot or 

burning fat. 

• Place the device on a flat surface 

that is insensitive to grease and 

splash-resistant, as splashes are 

not always avoidable. The surface 

should be easy to clean. 

• Never use sharp or abrasive 

cleaners or sharp objects for clean-

ing in order to avoid damage to the 

non-stick coating.
