• Never pour more or less than 1.5
litres of clear, fresh tap water into the
drip pan.
• Observe the water level while
grilling. Water should be added in
good time, while ensuring that it
does not come into contact with the
heating element. Caution: Discon-
nect the grill from the mains before
adding water.
• Before using the barbecue grill,
always ensure that the grill pan and
heating element are correctly fitted
into the housing.
• The barbecue grill must be super-
vised at all times during operation.
• Always bear in mind that the
housing surfaces as well as the
heating element become very hot
during operation. Even after the
heating element is switched off,
it must not be touched until it has
sufficiently cooled down - there is
otherwise a severe danger of burns.
• Do not allow the power cord to
touch any hot parts of the appli-
ance.
• Always remove the plug from the
wall socket -
before filling the grill
pan with water, after use,
in
case of any malfunction, and during
cleaning.
• Never move the grill while it is in
use or still hot. Always allow the
appliance sufficient time to cool
down before carrying, transporting
or storing it. Pour out any remaining
water after use.
• Ensure that the grill is not stored
outdoors, or in any other location
where it might be subjected to
extremes of temperature or high
humidity.
• No responsibility is accepted if
damage results from improper use, or
if these instructions are not complied
with.
