2. The device beeps once as confir-
mation that the On-Off-Switch has
been pressed and another time as a
confirmation that the warm keeping
function had been activated.
3. The cooking process is started
immediately after that. Therefore,
select the desired temperature that
has to be retained by the kettle
directly after activating the warm
keeping function. Activate the
Temperature Selection switch (5) to
select the desired temperature.
4. The active warm keeping function
is confirmed through the continuous
flashing of both the switches and the
blinking of the LED lights.
5. Should you desire still higher tem-
perature after ending the process,
then select the desired temperature
by activating the appropriate switch
(5). The kettle heats the water afresh
now to the new desired temperature.
10. Cleaning
DANGER-
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
• Pull out the mains plug from the
socket before you clean the electric
kettle.
• The electric kettle, the appliance
base, the connecting cable and
the mains plug are not allowed to
be immersed in the water or other
liquids.
WARNING-
RISK OF INJURY!
• The electric kettle becomes very
hot after operating it. Let it cool
down before cleaning.
Cleaning:
1. Remove the mains plug from the
socket.
2. Clean the electric kettle with a dry
cloth. In case of severe staining, the
cloth can be slightly moistened.
3. In this case, dry off the electric
kettle thoroughly after cleaning.
4. We recommend the cleaning of
electric kettles after every use.
11. Storage
Keep the appliance in a clean, dirt
free and dry place.
12. Disposal
Dispose of the packaging after
sorting it correctly. Give the card-
board and carton for the waste
paper collection, foils for the collec-
tion of recyclables.
Do not throw away the appliance
in the normal household waste. The
