Heated air flows through the sieves evaporation water out of the products
being dried. The time of drying depends on the content of water inside the
products and their thickness, i.e. we recommend to dry not thicker slices of
apples than 5mm.
It is recommended to change the sieves positions from time to time during
drying process, so that the foods are dried equally. Drying watery products,
such as plums, grapes or wet mushrooms needs much more time.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The dryer is equipped with one thermostat and a thermal cut-out;
Thermostat ---operation in automatic cycle, it means, when temperature
grows extensively, the heater is switched off and the dryer operates as a fan,
after cooling down the heater is on again.
Thermal cut-out ---prevents the appliance from overheating during
operation in non-typical conditions, i.e. Blocked engine or the thermostat is
damaged, the, thermal cut-out will cut out the mains supply in case of fire
danger.
