Before Installing the NE2552E
Attention:
Product
information
is
required
in
order
to
register
your
NE2552E,
update
its
firmware,
place
a
service
call,
or
replace
the
unit.
Some
of
the
product
information
labels
may
be
hidden
from
view
once
the
NE2552E
is
installed.
To
prevent
the
need
to
remove
the
switch
in
order
to
read
required
product
information,
locate
and
record
the
information
shown
on
prior
to
installation.
An
example
of
the
product
information
labels
is
shown
as
follows:

Note:
These
examples
are
to
help
locate
and
identify
the
information
labels.
The
actual
labels
and
information
for
your
specific
switch
may
differ.
The
identification
labels
on
the
NE2552E
contain
the
serial
number
and
part
number
of
the
switch.
These
labels
also
include
the
Media
Access
Control
(MAC)
address
(on
the
uppermost
handle)
of
the
switch.
Though
helpful,
the
MAC
address
is
not
required
for
opening
a
service
call.
