5. If you are instructed to return the old ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module, follow all packaging

instructions and use any packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.

Installing the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module

To install the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module, do the following:

1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See “Preparing your server in advance and removing

the server cover” on page 53.

2. Note the orientation of the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module. Then, gently press the tab on the

ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module bracket as shown and install the ThinkServer RAID Super
Capacitor Module into the bracket at the same time.

3. Position the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module assembly on the chassis so that the tabs on the

assembly pass through the corresponding holes in the chassis. Then, move the ThinkServer RAID Super
Capacitor Module assembly as shown until it is secured on the chassis.
