“Installing the SD module” on page 101

Note:

If you remove the SD module, you cannot install SD cards into your server for storage.

Removing the SD module

To remove the SD module, do the following:

1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See “Preparing your server in advance and removing

the server cover” on page 53.

2. Locate the SD module. Then, disconnect the SD module cable from the system board. See “System

board components” on page 30.

3. Press the tab on the chassis and move the SD module assembly as shown at the same time. Then,

remove the SD module assembly out of the chassis.

Note:

Carefully handle the SD module by its edges.
