Reset Button
The Reset button is recessed within a hole on the front panel. Use a straightened
paper clip or similar object to press the Reset button. The Reset button allows
technicians to reset the switch as follows:
 if the switch operates using Lenovo Enterprise Network Operating System
(ENOS):

Normal reset—press and release reset button. The switch will start a forced
reload procedure without saving the current configuration. This action is
intended for when the switch is unresponsive and needs to be restarted to
resume its normal functions. A log file is generated at the time of reset and
saved to be later used for debugging purposes.

Factory reset—press and hold reset for more than five seconds. The switch
reloads and reverts all configuration settings to the factory defaults. This
action will also generate and save a log file.
 if the switch operates using Lenovo Cloud Network Operating System (CNOS):

Normal reset—press and release reset button. The switch will start a forced
reload procedure without saving the current configuration. This action is
intended for when the switch is unresponsive and needs to be restarted to
resume its normal functions.

Factory reset—press and hold reset for more than five seconds. The switch
reloads and reverts all configuration settings to the factory defaults.
