Reset Button
The
Reset
button
is
recessed
within
a
hole
on
the
front
panel.
Use
a
straightened
paper
clip
or
similar
object
to
press
the
Reset
button.
The
Reset
button
allows
technicians
to
reset
the
switch
as
follows:
if
the
switch
operates
using
Lenovo
Enterprise
Network
Operating
System
(ENOS):
Normal
reset—press
and
release
reset
button.
The
switch
will
start
a
forced
reload
procedure
without
saving
the
current
configuration.
This
action
is
intended
for
when
the
switch
is
unresponsive
and
needs
to
be
restarted
to
resume
its
normal
functions.
A
log
file
is
generated
at
the
time
of
reset
and
saved
to
be
later
used
for
debugging
purposes.
Factory
reset—press
and
hold
reset
for
more
than
five
seconds.
The
switch
reloads
and
reverts
all
configuration
settings
to
the
factory
defaults.
This
action
will
also
generate
and
save
a
log
file.
if
the
switch
operates
using
Lenovo
Cloud
Network
Operating
System
(CNOS):
Normal
reset—press
and
release
reset
button.
The
switch
will
start
a
