Lower PCB and Cover Removal
NOTE
The Lower Rear Cover and the Lower
PCB can be recovered and reused
after removal.
1.
Use the Torque Driver and JCIS #0 Bit to
remove the 4 JCIS #0 Machine Screws from
the Lower PCB Cover.
NOTE
After you remove the Machine Screws,
you cannot reuse them.
2.
Use the Thin Plastic Spudger to lift the Main
Flex BtB from the connector on the Lower
PCB at the location shown.
3.
Insert the pointed end of the Blackstick
between the Battery and the Lower Rear
Cover as shown.
//CAUTION//
Use care when inserting the pointed end of the
Blackstick to avoid damaging the Battery.
4.
Pry up the Lower PCB Cover until the snaps
disengage from the Front Housing.
NOTE
Use care when lifting the Lower PCB Cover free
from the Battery Inlay. The Lower PCB is
fastened to the underside of the Lower PCB
Cover.
