9. Push the alignment pin on the Insert into the
Headset Jack opening on the phone as shown.
10. Press down on the Display/Battery Inlay
Removal Fixture handle to bring the suction cups
in contact with the Battery Inlay. Make sure all
suction cups are attached to the Battery Inlay.

Use care when pressing down on the
Display/Battery Inlay Removal Fixture handle.
Damage to the phone may occur.

Turn on the Heat Gun and set the temperature to
80 °C (176 °F). Allow the Heat Gun to warm up
for 2-3 minutes.

Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
12. Use the Heat Gun to warm the phone edges for
about 3 minutes. Keep the Heat Gun in motion to
avoid damaging the phone.
