Answer: This is because of improper operation.
The correct operation steps are as follows: Click the green
arrow at the right side of the taskbar – the “Unplug or Eject
Device” icon
→
Click “Stop USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE”
→
Press the OK button of the prompt message
→
Unplug the
Lenovo Portable Hard Drive after the drive letter
corresponding to the Lenovo Portable Hard Drive in My
Computer disappears.

When a file is copied in the Lenovo Portable Hard Drive,
the computer will display that the copy is over, but when
the Lenovo Portable Hard Drive is pulled out, it will
display that the file data is not yet copied successfully. Why?
Answer: The operating system creates a very large chunk of
memory for disk read/write to buffer data. Therefore when the
progress bar of the operating system indicates that the data
transmission is over, it does not necessarily mean that the data
has been truly written to the Lenovo Portable Hard Drive. The
user should pay attention to the indicator of the Lenovo
Portable Hard Drive: if it flashes, the Lenovo Portable Hard
Drive can not be pulled out; and only after the indicator stops
flashing for a period of time (generally 2 seconds) can the
Lenovo Portable Hard Drive be pulled out.

Why the capacity shown on the computer is different from
the hard disk specifications?
