the
Microsoft
Windows
XP
users,
it
is
recommended
to
install
the
smart
card
reader
driver
for
using
the
smart
card
reader
of
the
keyboard.
For
the
Microsoft
Window
Vista
users,
it
is
also
recommended
to
install
the
smart
card
reader
driver
for
using
other
specific
functions
including
the
secure
PIN
entry.
Installing
the
keyboard
This
section
provides
instructions
on
how
to
install
the
Lenovo
USB
Smartcard
Keyboard
to
your
computer
after
you
install
the
drivers.
Note:
For
the

information
of
the
Lenovo

To
install
the
keyboard
to
your
computer,
do
the
following:
1.
Adjust
the
tilt
feet
to
set
the
keyboard
near
your
computer
to
your
preference.
2.
Route
the
keyboard
cable
into
the
right
or
left
cable
slot
according
to
your
preference.
3.
Connect
the
keyboard
cable
to
the
USB
port
on
your
computer.
The
operating
system
will
identify
the
keyboard
and
the
smart
card
reader,
and
the
keyboard
is
ready
for
use.
Using
the
smart
card
reader
To
use
the
smart
card
reader
of
the
keyboard,
do
the
following:
1.
Insert
a
smart
card
into
the
smart
card
reader
slot
with
the
contact
pad
facing
up,
as
shown:
