Remark:
While the record is playing and if you wish to stop the record while its playing:
Press the stop button; the cartridge comes up and returns to it’s rest; the
turntable stops turning.
Replace the protective cap on the stylus
Close the tone-arm lock.
Digitizing records
Installation of the software (Windows XP, Vista, MAC)
1. Turn on the computer.
2. Make sure that your USB turntable is plugged into the computer and both the
computer and the turntable are plugged in and on.
Note:
Before connecting the turntable to the PC, disconnect the turntable from your
audio-system.
This turntable is a plug-and-play devise so the operating system on your PC does
not need any drivers for installation of the turntable.
Before installing the Audacity software please make sure that the operating
system recognizes the turntable as recording hardware and not as playing
hardware.
3. If you use the USB function for the first time make sure that the computer has
installed the turntable correctly.
For Windows users:
Install the software by using the CD or download the latest software for free via
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Take note that Windows 7 Starter does not support this turntable.
For MAC users:
Download the latest software for free via http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ and
install it.
4. Start the Audacity software on your computer
Software Configuration (Windows XP, Vista, MAC)
1. Connect the turntable to the computer.
Note: Before connecting the turntable to the PC, disconnect the turntable from
your audio-system.
2. Start the Audacity software
3. Click on Microphone in the drop down menu and select “Stereo Mix”
