5.2 Function
5.2.1 Headstock
The headstock with top link pin and cross shaft conforms to the ISO 730 standard
and connects the implement with the three-point linkage on the tractor.
The implement can be supplied with an L2/Z3, L3/Z3 or L3/Z4 cross shaft.
The implement is supplied with a category 3 top link pin.
5.2.2 Hollow
discs
The implement consists of two rows of curved and notched hollow discs that are
arranged separately on the frame. The hollow discs are protected against over-
loading by pre-tensioned spring elements. The hollow discs loosen and mix the
soil. The hollow discs loosen and mix the soil.
5.2.3 Working depth adjustment for the hollow discs
The working depth can be adjusted mechanically or hydraulically.
Mechanical depth adjustment is carried out separately for the left and right sides
of the implement and both sides must be the same height. An adjusting device us-
ing pins is used.
Hydraulic depth adjustment for both sides of the implement is carried out from the
tractor cab via a spool valve.
5.2.4 Drawbar
The height-adjustable drawbar can be mounted at two heights. This makes it pos-
sible among other things to change the intake behaviour and lifting height of the
implement.
5.2.5 Rebound
harrows
The rebound harrows control placement of thrown-up soil and ensure that the fol-
lowing implements are not impeded by accumulations of soil.
5.2.6 Levelling
harrow
The levelling harrow levels the soil that has been lifted.
