- Mark holes on workbench where the machine is to be mounted, using holes in the base as a template for hole
pattern.
- Drill holes through workbench and place the machine on workbench by aligning holes in the base with holes
drilled in the workbench.
- Insert bolts (not supplied) and tighten securely with lock washers and hex nuts (not supplied).
6.2 Installing the sanding disc and the disc guard (Fig 1)
- Remove the backing from the sanding disc.
- Align the perimeter of the sanding disc (

) with the plate and press firmly into position.
Make sure the sanding disc is stuck properly and in a flat position.
- Place the disc guard (

) and align holes.
- Use the two Phillips screws ST4.2x10 (

) to securely tighten the disc guard in place.
6.3 Installing and adjusting the work table for sanding disc (Fig 2 & 3)
The worktable (

) can be tilted from 0° to 45° for bevel sanding.
- Insert the work table index pin into the hole of the tool’s housing.
- Position the flat washer over the table lock knob (

) then tighten the table lock knob (
8
) securely.
To tilt the worktable:
- Loosen the table lock knob (
8
) by turning it counterclockwise.
- Set the worktable (

) to desired angle by using the bevel scale.
- Tighten the table lock knob (
8
) by turning it clockwise.
6.4 Installing the sanding belt limiting plate (Fig 4)
Use the limiting plate (

) for horizontal sanding with the belt.
- Place the limiting plate (

) on the side of the sanding belt support.
- Fasten the limiting plate with two hex cylinder screws M8x16 (

) and flat washers, by using the hex key.
6.5 Installing and adjusting the work table for sanding belt (Fig 5 & 6)
The worktable (

) can be installed on the sanding belt support for vertical sanding with the belt.
- Insert the work table index pin into the hole on the side of the sanding belt support.
- Position the flat washer over the table lock knob (

) then tighten the table lock knob (
8
) securely.
To tilt the sanding belt support:
- Loosen the hex socket screw M8x25 (
14
) by using the hex key.
- Move the sanding belt support into the vertical position, then lock it by retightening hex socket screw (
14
).
6.6 Installing the miter gauge (Fig 7)
The miter gauge (

) is recommended for sanding small end surfaces on the sanding disc.
- Insert the miter gauge sliding bar into the worktable groove.
6.7 Dust extraction (Fig 7)
CAUTION:
- Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings, some wood types, can be harmful to one’s health.
Touching or breathing-in the dusts can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or
bystanders.
- Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are considered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with wood-
treatment additives (chromate, wood preservative).
- Materials containing asbestos may only be worked by specialists.
- Prevent dust accumulation at the workplace; dusts can easily ignite.
- Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator.
- Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the materials to be worked.
The dust ejector (

) is on the left side of the machine.
- Connect the vacuum cleaner to the dust ejector (

) with an extraction hose (not supplied).
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material being worked.
