BAL
Control of the balance of the signal on the main outputs.
The BAL control of the STEREO input channel has the same function
as PAN on the MONO input channel, but behaves differently. In fact,
the two parts of the signal (LEFT & RIGHT) remain separate and one
(LEFT) is only assigned to MIX A&B LEFT outputs, the other (RIGHT)
only to MIX A&B RIGHT outputs,. Therefore, in this case, the BAL
control has a
balancing
effect on the levels of these two parts and works
as follows:
turning to the
LEFT
lowers the RIGHT signal level on MIX RIGHT;
turning to the
RIGHT
lowers the LEFT signal on MIX LEFT.
CHANNEL FADER
45mm STEREO fader for controlling the channel level:
the STEREO
input channels are only equipped with one STEREO potentiometer each,
and this controls both the LEFT and RIGHT components of the signal,
which are, however, still totally separate.
