1. INTRODUCTION
The Lely Hibiscus 915 CD Vario is a pull type twin rotor rake to rake grass or
hay.
The Hibiscus has:
• Two rotors,
• Cam track
• Tandem-axle wheel,
• Steering device
• Hydraulic systems.
• Optional extras (page 1
‑
3).
The two rotors have 13 tine arms, each with four double tines.The tines
provide a clean sweep and move the grass to the center in a fluffy swath.
The adjustable cam track determines the pick and release moment of the
crop.
A tandem-axle wheel makes sure that quality raking is achieved even in
undulating fields.
The steering device makes the Hibiscus operate as a trailer. The Hibiscus
can continue raking when it goes round bends.
The hydraulic system moves the Hibiscus into the following positions:
• from the transport position to the working position and reverse,
• to the headland position,
• to the working width.
