Change of oil in gearbox
Change the oil of the gearbox of a new rake (or after assembly of a
new gearbox) after approx. 30 working hours for the first time. After
that, oil has to be changed every 250 working hours.
- Place a receiving container underneath the gearbox.
- Unscrew the drain plug (arrow, fig. 20) from the gear box in
question and let the oil flow into the receiving container.
- Fill the gearbox with 1.7 l GX85W-140 transmission oil.
An incorrect oil quantity may lead to overheating and
unrepairable damage of the gearbox.
Change the oil more often when operating the machine in
extreme working conditions.
