Punching and Binding
Selecting and Inserting the Wire Comb
Determine the required comb size using the table in

this manual.
Insert the wire comb with the open side facing
•
upwards into the hook of the wire comb holder

Punching
Turn the adjustment knob
•

to “Punch Point”.
The sheets are only correctly punched in this position.
Tip: Test the punching result initially with a blank sheet of
paper before you punch the original.
Place the sheets in the punching channel

Press the lever
•
down and then raise it again.
Remove the punched sheets.
•
Inserting Punched Sheets
Insert the punched sheets into the wire comb.
•
You can now punch all the remaining sheets and insert them
into the wire comb.
Closing the Wire Comb
Please note that once a wire comb has been closed it can
only be opened again by destroying it.
Turn the adjustment knob

to the comb size being
used.
The setting is important so that the wire comb can be
correctly closed.
Remove the wire comb together with the inserted
•
sheets from the wire comb holder.
Place the sheets with the open side of the wire comb
•
facing downwards in the wire comb closer
.
Press the binding lever down slowly as far as it will
•
go and then raise it again.
Remove the bound document.

customer, due to inadequate attention to packaging.
The supplier will be responsible for all parts and labour

charges as necessary to the unit. The 3 year guarantee
is subject to the following conditions:

That if the benefit of this guarantee is sought, the

Esselte does not accept responsibility for loss or
damage in transit.
That the guarantee is invalid if the defects are

found to be caused by accident, misuse, alteration
or neglect.
That no liability of Esselte is to be implied here

for damage, loss or expense of any kind resulting
from, consequence upon, or in any way due
to any fault whatsoever in the instrument or its
accessories.
That this guarantee does not affect you statutory

rights as a consumer.
