Chapter 3: Operation

Non-PCM Processing

Compressed non-PCM audio signals cannot be summed and averaged
out. Therefore, if you have selected one of these options, the sources
that appear in the Out01Src to Out04Src parameters are arbitrarily
matched odd/even to left/right.
In the non-PCM mode of operation, audio sample rate conversion
cannot be performed. Therefore, in this mode the audio synchronizer is
forced to operate as an audio delay line only.
