Maintenance Tasks
Remove decorative glass and examine burner. Vacuum and wipe out as
needed. Use caution when cleaning these areas.
Inspect for warping and corrosion. Repair as necessary.
Check the hose connecting the LP gas cylinder to ensure it is not damaged.
Replace as necessary.
Verify air intake area is clean.
Verify all gas connections are tight and leak-free.
Clean off burner top, inspect for plugged ports, corrosion or deterioration.
Replace burner if necessary.
Inspect for flame problems.
Verify air intake is clear of dust and debris.
Inspect orifice for soot, dirt or corrosion.
Verify manifold and inlet pressures. Adjust regulator as required.
The gas hose with regulator supplied with the appliance must be used. The
replacement must be those specified by the appliance manufacturer.

7. Maintaining and Servicing the appliance
Although the frequency of appliance servicing and
maintenance will depend on use and the type of
installation, a qualified service technician should
perform an appliance check-up annually.
Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible only if
the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the ap-
pliance.
