Next, mix the concrete with water and pour it into the footing holes using half a bag per hole.
While the concrete is still setting up, you can attempt to anchor the windmill stand to the footing
without the windmill topper. Set the windmill on top of the 4 footings while the concrete is still
wet. Take the “L” shaped anchors and push it through the hole in the windmill leg and down into
the wet concrete. Make sure the anchors are in the wet concrete firmly
Allow for 24 - 48 hours of drying time before putting the windmill topper on the base.
First, find a level surface in your area that you want to anchor the windmill to. Depending on
local soil conditions, it may be necessary for larger and deeper footings. Softer soils may need
stronger footings.
Then take the post hole digger and remove at least a 6” diameter x 12” deep of soil.
