6. Operation via Touch screen
Stage menu
The X/Y coordinates of the current stage position
are displayed in the information fi eld.
The selected working area of the stage is indi-
cated by a dashed frame in the Leica Application
Suite (LAS).
The
Reset
button under
Limits
restores the maxi-
mum range of movement of the stage.

Up to 5 stage positions and a loading position (L)
can be stored. Use
+
and
-
in
Stored Positions
to select a stored position. Press
Store
to store
the current stage position under that number.
This will overwrite any previously-stored stage
position.
To go to the stored stage position, press
GoTo
.
When traveling to the loading position, the stage
is lowered to the lower stop. When using an in-
verted stand, the objective turret is raised to the
upper stop.
Note:
If a stored position is outside the working range
of the stage, for example as a result of subse-
quent changes to the working range in the LAS
software, you must restore the maximum range
of the stage via
Reset
to reach the position.
The stored positions are saved when powering
the control panel down and are redefi ned when
restarting.
Use
Coarse
and
Fine
to toggle the positioning
speed of the stage.
