• Damp or wet batteries/rechargeable
batteries must never be used in this flash
unit!
• Damp or wet rechargeable batteries must
never be charged!
• Used batteries/rechargeable batteries
therefore must always be removed from the
unit, especially if you will not be using the
flash unit for a longer period of time.
• Do not throw used batteries/rechargeable
batteries in a fire!
• Always keep the battery/rechargeable
battery contacts clean and freely
accessible; do not short-circuit! Always
protect against metal objects such as
paperclips or jewellery in order to avoid
short circuiting the unit. Short-circuited
batteries/rechargeable batteries can
become very hot and may cause severe
burns.
• If a battery/rechargeable battery should be
dropped, check its covering and contacts
for any damage. Do not use damaged
batteries or rechargeable batteries. Using
damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries
may damage the flash unit.
• In the presence of any odour or
discolouration, deformation, overheating or
leakage of fluid, the batteries/rechargeable
batteries must be removed from the flash
unit immediately and replaced. Using
damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries
poses the risk of overheating, fire and/or
explosion!
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not
be opened/disassembled.
• If the flash unit is so heavily damaged that
interior components are exposed, it must
no longer be operated. Remove batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
