Page 48 Operating Manual Leica EM FC7 01/10

Place grid on flip-over bridge.

Open grid holder by pushing on the small

indentation at the rear end with a small black

lever or a pair of forceps. Move gird holder

towards the grid and clamp it by releasing the

clamping jaw.

Pull back grid holder towards you and flip

bridge to the right using a pair of forceps.

Push grid holder forwards until the grid has

reached the desired distance from the knife

edge.

Take extra care not to touch the delicate diamond knife edge.
