OPTIONAL FEATURE

Safety pad

The safety pad on the underside of the platform serves as an additional safety feature when
travelling downstairs. The safety pad is pressure sensitive and will stop the lift immediately if it
makes contact with any obstacle. The obstacle must be removed in order to get the stairlift
travelling downstairs again. Travelling upstairs is possible anyway.
