Body Preparation, Installation, & Final Assembly
MUFFLER INSTALLATION
1.
See Fig. 1.
Install marking tool to (1) muffler
mounting hole as shown.

(1) Muffler (OEM)
2. Using
exhaust pipe expander
, expand the end of
the stock muffler as needed to fit over rear pipe.
3.
See Fig. 2.
Slide muffler onto left side exhaust
pipe and align with body as shown.
4. Press the muffler marking tool through muffler
mounting bracket into the underside of the body
identifying hole location.
5. Remove muffler from trike and marking tool from
muffler.
6. Drill exhaust mounting hole from the underside of
the body using
19/64” bit.
7. Reinstall muffler to trike with (1) exhaust clamp.

Secure muffler to body through mount-
ing hole using (1) bolt and (1) fender washer.
Tighten using
4mm allen head socket.
•
(1) Bolt (CB1910)
•
(1) Fender Washer (CW2154)
9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for right side muffler
installation.
10.
Torque and mark exhaust clamps (4) to 35 ft.
lbs using 15mm socket.
11.
Torque and mark exhaust mounting bolts (2)
to 22 ft. lbs using 4mm allen head socket.
12.
Torque and mark front and rear body mount
bolts (4) to 22 ft. lbs using 5mm allen head
socket.
