DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The Lighting Management Touchscreen Injector (LMTI-100-xxx) provides an interface from the Digital Lighting Management (DLM)
IRB network to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) network to manage the communication and power to the LMEQ-41. It supports up to 2
touchscreens per LMTI, and provides PnG capability for the LMEQ-41 to provide quick and efficient start-up.
INSTALLATION AND WIRING
The LMTI-100 mounts to a 4”x4” or 4-11/16” x 4-11/16” J-Box.
1. Loosen the screw that holds the mounting arm in place and swing arm away
from LMTI-100.
2. Attach 2 screws to opposite corners of the J-Box loosely (do not tighten).
3. Attach LMTI-100 to J-box by inserting key hole slots over screws, then slide
over so that narrow slots rest on screws. Then tighten screws.
4. Wire as follows: Black – Line; White – Neutral; Green with Yellow Stripe –
Ground. Power to the LMTI-100 must be
unswitched
.
5. Tuck wires back into J-box and swing LMTI-100 back towards mounting
plate. Then tighten the screw to secure.
6. Connect an LMRJ cable from one PoE jack to the LMEQ-41. A second jack
is available if using another LMEQ-41.
7. Connect an LMRJ from
one DLM Local Network
port to a room controller
or other DLM device. A
second port is available
for chaining DLM
devices.
NOTE:
LMRJ cable should
always
be used for
DLM connection.
LMRJ or other
Cat5e/Cat6 cable
can be used for PoE
connection.
WARNING:
TURN THE POWER OFF AT
THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE WIRING.
