This position can be used to promote
development of the spinal curves, stability of
the trunk and improved function. The seat
base with the leg support attached can be
elevated into prone by inserting the prone bar
into the underside of the seat base.
To attach the prone bar, turn the seat base
upside down, press the poppers in and slide
the prone bar into the receiving tubes at the
back of the seat. The bar is secure when the
poppers engage in the holes in the receiving
tubes. To remove reverse the process.
Place the seat with prone bar attached on a
stable flat surface.
Set the trunk support angle to 115 degrees so
the child is in an upright position. Fine tuning
of the trunk support can be carried out with
the child in the seat.
Check that the product is stable and
never leave the child unattended
especially if they are very active in the
seat.
