To turn the system on and off, press the middle
switch.

The right switch activates the stair-ascending mode.
▪
The left switch activates the stair-descending mode.
▪
Press the light button to operate the emergency
light.
Charging the
battery
To charge the battery, the switch should be ON (1),
Connect the cable to the battery, and then plug the
cable into an electrical outlet (wall socket). When
charging is complete, disconnect the cable from
the battery, and them unplug the cable from the
wall socket.
A full battery charging cycle takes five hours, and
allows for approximately 90 minutes of continuous
operation. The battery can be charged without
removing it from the chair.
Operating the
chair
Maximizing
battery life
Use original charger only when charging your
battery. Begin charging process when 2 lower
indicator lights are on, and continue charging
until all lights are on. When the charging process is
complete, do not leave the charger connected to the
battery. Use a current regulator or lightening surge
protector. Do not leave a battery fully charged and
unused for more than a few days. When the chair
is not in use, the battery should be charged every
three months.
