ON / OFF
Pressing the ON/OFF button will switch on the instrument. A welcome
screen will appear.
The instrument will run for the duration of the POWER MIN(1) in the System
parameters(5) menu.
Fc/De (Frequency Center/Distance-to-fault endpoint)
When used in frequency based screens (Fc):
Pressing the Fc/De button on the keyboard will present a screen with an
entry field ‘Fc:_‘, at the bottom of the screen. By pressing the numeric keys
you can enter any frequency from 50 kHz to 4400 MHz. If you accidentally
mis-type, you can backspace on the down/right arrow button. Press the
enter key to confirm the new center frequency.
Please note that the Fc will have priority over the FΔ, and it will adjust the
value to fit inside instrument range.
When used for setting DTF endpoint (De):
Pressing the Fc/De button, the display will present a screen with an entry
field ‘Dist:‘, at the bottom of the screen. By pressing the numeric keys you
can enter any length from 1 to 500 meters (1 to 1640 feet).
FΔ/Ds (Frequency Span/Distance-to-fault startpoint)
When used in frequency based screens (FΔ):
Pressing the FΔ button on the keyboard will present a screen with an entry
field ‘FΔ:_‘, at the bottom of the screen. By pressing the numeric keys you
can enter any range from 50 kHz to 4400 MHz. If you accidentally mis-type,
you can backspace on the down/right arrow button. Press the enter key to
confirm the new center frequency.
Please note that the SiteOne automatically adjusts the frequency span so
that it fits within the instrument range.
When used for setting DTF startpoint (Ds):
Pressing the FΔ/Ds button, the display will present a screen with an entry
field ‘Dist:‘, at the bottom of the screen. By pressing the numeric keys you
can enter any length from 1 to 499 meters (1 to 1639 feet).
