Does not start

Clean / replace air filter

Fill fuel tank

Drain tank and refill with fresh clean fuel

PROBLEM

Drain fuel tank and carburetor 

and refill tank with fresh fuel

Spark plug wire is disconnected

Connect wire to plug

Bad spark plug

Replace spark plug

Loose blade or broken blade adapter

Control bar in defective

Engine flywheel brake is on when

control bar is released

Bent engine crankshaft

Cutting height too low

Rear of lawnmower housing/

blade dragging in grass

Blade adapter broken

Lift on blade worn off

Grass catcher too full

Grass is too high or wheel height is

Raise cutting height
