Use the Flower Guard to avoid bringing the cutting device into contact with hard objects such as
walls and curbs. (Fig 35)

Let the cutting device do the work. Let it work at its own pace, never
force it into the area to be cut.
NOTE:
The trimmer is equipped with an auto-feed head. DO NOT bump the
head to try to advance the line as this will damage trimmer and void warranty.
NOTE:
The line will extend approximately 3/16 in. with each stop and start of
the switch trigger until the line reches the length of the line cut-off blade.
