Clean carbon deposits from muffler and tube
with wire brush and wood dowel (Fig. 33). Wipe
muffler clean with paper towel or rag.

10. Install muffler and crankshaft support to engine
mounting plate (Fig. 34).

Crankshaft support
Note:
Crankshaft support must have equal
clearance around crankshaft
circumference to prevent contact with
crankshaft.
11. Torque muffler bolts to 155 in.–lbs. (13 ft.–lbs.)
(18 Nm).
12. Attach blade driver and blade with blade nut.

13. Torque blade nut to 560 in.–lbs. (47 ft.–Ibs.)
(63 N
m).
14. Connect spark plug wire when maintenance is
completed.
