the operator present light located on the control panel just above the key switch.
From the operator seat, switch the BLADES toggle switch (located in the center of the
main control panel) to the START position. It is a
momentary switch - release it immediately
upon activation of the clutch.
NOTE: Leaving the operator seat at any time while the blades are engaged will
cause the blades to automatically disengage. Blades will shut off automatically if
overheating occurs.
4.9 Anti-Scalp Wheel Adjustment
The rear anti-scalp wheel on the deck can be readjusted as needed.
IMPORTANT! Any time the mower deck height is adjusted on the Articulator, it is neces-
sary to check all the anti-scalp wheels for proper positioning. The recommended
anti-scalp wheel height settings are as follows:

Deck Height < 2” = Set the anti-scalp wheels to the top hole,

Deck Height 2” to 3” = Set the anti-scalp wheels to the center hole,

Deck Height > 3” = Set the anti-scalp wheels to the bottom hole.
